It’s 7 am but I’ve already done six things that set me up for a successful day.

Why? Because how you start your day determines how your day goes.

If you have a great day, most likely you’ll have a great date later that day too.

Because I want you to show up as your best self when you meet a guy (who may turn out to be your husband), I’m very excited to share about my morning ritual

I do it first thing every morning. My private clients do it too.

It works like magic because you attract what you want by the person you become.

Here are the key takeaways that I took from Hal Elrod’s must-read book, “The Miracle Morning.”

After Hal had survived in a horrific car accident, he created six daily practices that helped him to recover and achieve his primary life goals. They are called the Life S.A.V.E.R.S.

Although Hal recommends investing one hour into your miracle morning, you can do each one for just ONE MINUTE a day and see a difference it will make in your day and your dates.

S is for Silence – Do a short meditation, say a prayer, practice deep breathing or gratitude. If you have more time, check out this 15-minute guided meditation to “Open to Receive Love & Abundance.

A is for Affirmations – Say out loud a short mantra or practice incantations that are very powerful because you use both words and feelings. Check out these 2-minute powerful affirmations “I AM.

V is for Visualization – Imagine your perfect day today and take a minute to visualize yourself moving through your day with confidence and ease. Think about your date tonight and visualize who you need to be and what you need to do to make it amazing.

E is for Exercise – Do something to get your heart rate up. If you only have one minute, do some jumping jacks. If you have more time, go for a run. I’d never been a runner until a moment when I decided that, “I am a runner”, and now I love running because it makes me happy.

R is for Reading – Read a page or a few from a book. You’ll learn something new and will get some interesting ideas and topics to discuss on your date. If you want to lever-age your time, listen to a book. Because of Audible (you can download a free audio-book), I go through 3-4 books a week.

S is for Scribing – Journal your insights, realizations and lessons learned from dating experiences and write powerful intentions for your next date. I typically write what I’m grateful for and what I’m looking forward to remember, what you focus on is what you get.

Now, you may say that that’s A LOT to do, and you can’t add one more thing to your already super busy schedule.

The mindset shift here is that 6 minutes (or 60 minutes—your choice) that you invest in yourself will SAVE you from hours wasted on being stressed out, worried and overthinking that result from the lack of self-care.

If you think that you can’t do it because you aren’t a “morning person” or creating rituals didn’t work for you in the past, the mindset shift for you is to realize how habits work. It takes 30 days to install new habits. In the first ten days, it’s unbearable. In the second 10 days, it’s uncomfortable. But in the third ten days, it’s unstoppable. When you know it, you have the power change and in just 30 days install new habits that will serve you for a lifetime.
